Exploring RRS Discovery

Updated: Aug 25, 2020

Another grand old lady of the sea, RRS (Royal Research Ship) Discovery was one of the last ever wooden sailing ships built for the British government at the turn of the 20th century. Discovery is famous for her exploits in the Antarctic under Captain Robert Falcon Scott.

Here are some smashing photos of her docked in Dundee in Scotland - photos taken by my friend, Grahame Flint. For more information about how to visit this ship museum, see https://www.rrsdiscovery.com.
