How to Give an Audiobook as a Gift

Want a to give a gift that isn’t hampered by delivery fees or shipping delays? Then gift an audiobook—it’s all online and can be done in a jiffy, so no crowds or long queues. If you’re not familiar with how to gift audiobooks, simply follow these easy steps.
I have used my own audiobook, Discerning Grace, as an example.
Choose Your Preferred Retailer
(Or find out which audiobook retailer the recipient uses)
From a desktop
From a mobile device
Apple Books—from a desktop computer
IMPORTANT:
You can only gift an Apple audiobook to a recipient in the same country as you.
Ideal for gifting from an Apple device to an Apple device.
Open Apple Books
In the left-hand pane, search for Discerning Grace
This will open up the ebook
Click on Emma Lombard >
This then shows all my ebooks and audiobooks
Click on Discerning Grace audiobook image
This opens up the audiobook only
Click the dropdown arrow on the Buy Audiobook button
Select Gift This Audiobook
To: add recipient’s email (you can send to more than one person at a time)
Send: add your name
Message: personalise your gift
Send Gift: select your preferred delivery date
Click Next
Select your preferred gift-card theme
Click Next
Check your purchase details
Click Buy Gift
Apple Books—from a mobile device
IMPORTANT:
You can only gift an Apple audiobook to a recipient in the same country as you.
Ideal for gifting from an Apple device to an Apple device.
Open Apple Books App
In top search bar, type Discerning Grace
Scroll down to Audiobooks
Click Discerning Grace audiobook image
Click on the square gift icon (the one with a bow)
To: add recipient’s email
From: your name
Message: personalise your gift
SEND GIFT: select your preferred delivery date
Click Next
Select your preferred gift-card theme
Click Next
Check your purchase details
Click Buy
Chirp Books—from a desktop computer
IMPORTANT:
Only available for gift givers and recipients living in the United States or Canada.
If you don’t have a Chirp account, you will have to set one up (for free) before you get started.
Login to https://www.chirpbooks.com/
In the search bar, type Discerning Grace
Click Discerning Grace in audiobooks
On the Discerning Grace audiobook page, scroll down to the Gift option
Click Gift
Recipient Name
Add Recipient Email Address (and confirm)
From: add your name
Select Date: select your preferred delivery date
Message: personalise your gift
Click Continue to Checkout
Finalise transaction
